Pre-treatment filters always contain quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, water softener and security filter. Main purpose is to remove sludge, rust, colloid, suspended solids, color, odor, biochemical organic impurity in raw water. And pre-filters can also reduce water residual chlorine and pesticide and other harmful pollutions. If raw water in high hardness, we will need to add water softener to protect reverse osmosis membrane.
First stage pretreatment.(
Sand filter)
The use of multi-medium quartz sand filters, main purpose is to remove the water contains sediment, manganese, rust, colloid material, mechanical impurities, suspended solids and other particles in the above 20UM of substances hazardous to health.
Second stage pretreatment (
Carbon filter)
Activated carbon filters used to remove the pigment in the water, smell, a large number of chemical and biological organisms, reducing the residual value of water and pesticide pollution and other harmful pollutants.
Third stage pretreatment (
Security filter)
Security filter is to prevent large particles, bacteria, viruses into RO membrane, accuracy is 5µm.

Replacement time of consumable parts
All parts will depends on raw water quality, better quality longer life span^^
1. Quartz sand: 15-18 months
2. Activated carbon:15-18 months
3. PP sediment filter cartridge: every 1 month
