Reverse Osmosis The reverse osmosis process employs semi-permeable, spiral-wound membranes to meticulously separate and eliminate dissolved solids, organic compounds, pyrogens, sub-micron colloidal matter, and bacteria from water. Under a pressure of approximately 16 kg/cm², feed water is forced through these membranes. The pure water permeates through the membrane's minute pores, ensuring delivery of purified water. The impurities are concentrated in the reject stream and subsequently flushed away. This process is remarkably efficient, removing 90-99% of total dissolved solids (TDS), 99% of organic substances, including pyrogens, and 99% of bacteria present in the feed water.
