The company primarily provides ultrapure water production solutions for the electroplating industry, covering three processes: ion exchange, two-stage RO, and EDI. The EDI process combines reverse osmosis pretreatment with electrodeionization (EDI), achieving continuous water production without the need for acid or base regeneration. Applications include gold and silver plating, ultrasonic cleaning, and automotive painting.

Ultrapure Water Production Principle: Reverse osmosis water treatment equipment typically consists of three components: a raw water pretreatment system, a reverse osmosis purification system, and an ultrapurification post-treatment system. The primary purpose of pretreatment is to ensure that the raw water meets the inlet requirements of the reverse osmosis membrane separation components and ensures the stable operation of the reverse osmosis purification system. The reverse osmosis membrane system is the most cost-effective purification method, removing over 98% of ions and organic matter and 100% of microorganisms from raw water in a single pass. 
The ultrapurification post-treatment system uses a variety of integrated technologies to further remove any remaining trace ions, organic matter, and other impurities in the reverse osmosis purified water, thereby meeting the final water quality requirements for different applications.
EDI system (short for Electrodeionization) utilizes mixed-bed ion exchange resins to adsorb cations and anions from the feed water. These adsorbed ions are then continuously removed through cation and anion exchange membranes under the influence of a DC voltage. This new technology can replace traditional ion exchange (DI) and produce ultrapure water with a resistivity exceeding 10 MΩ.cm. The greatest advantage of EDI deep desalination is its long-term stable operation, eliminating the need for acid or alkali regeneration of cation and anion resins. It is ideally suited for central ultrapure water production systems with a water output exceeding 100 L/h. It provides stable water quality, significantly reduces operating costs, and results in lower and more stable TOC. The resistivity of the water produced by Yongjieda's EDI system is typically approximately 15-18 MΩ.cm.
