Brackish water is water having more salinity than freshwater, but not as much as seawater. It may result from mixing seawater with fresh water together, as in estuaries, or it may occur in brackish fossil aquifers. Certain human activities can produce brackish water, in particular civil engineering projects such as dikes and the flooding of coastal marshland to produce brackish water pools for freshwater prawn farming. Brackish water is also the primary waste product of the salinity gradient power process. Because brackish water is hostile to the growth of most terrestrial plant species, without appropriate management it is damaging to the environment. 

 
If we drink this water, our kidneys have to filter out the excess salt.Hense we need to do some treatment!

Working Process
Raw water → raw water tank(user supply)→ raw water pump→quartz sand filter →activated carbon filter→anti-scale dosing system(optional)→security filter→high pressure pump→ro system→pure water tank(user supply)+UV sterilizer(ozone generator) + water supply point
 

Main parts function

1. Raw water pump

-- provide the pressure to sand/carbon filter

2. Sand filter

-- get rid of turbidity, suspended matter, organic matter, colloid and so on

3. Carbon filter

--Remove color, free chloride, organic matter, harmful matter and so on

4. Anti-scale dosing

--add antiscalant(buyer supply) , absorb Ca2+, Mg2+(main elements for composing scale), reduce hardness of raw water.

5. Micron filter

--prevent any deposition of large particles, some bacteria, and viruses into the RO membrane, The accuracy is 5um, for holding back any large particulates such as large iron, dust, suspended matter, impurity.

6. High pressure pump

-- Provide the high pressure to RO membrane, at least 2.0 MPA

7. RO system

--RO system is the heart part of pure water plant. The RO systems are capable of removing over 99% of ions, bacteria, particles and 98% of organics and silica.


Replacement time of consumable parts
All parts will depends on raw water quality, better quality longer life span^^

2. Activated carbon:12-16 months
3. Cation resin: around two years 
3. RO membranes: around two year
4. PP sediment filter cartridge: every 1 month
